@JD: I suspect that frogging laceweight alpaca is much more painful than frogging worsted wood. :)

I haven't yet decided how I will do the hem for my Wallaby. I will definitely omit the ribbing at the bottom, but don't know yet if I will leave the curled stockinette or go back to pick up the stitches and create a straight hem (as I did on Sylvia's second Wallaby. Stay tuned!

Oh! I'm sorry about the frogging and knitting, it's the story of my life these days, too (except I am frogging laceweight alpaca)... I still remember the Wallaby you knit for S and how lovely I thought the rolled bottom hem was. Looking forward to seeing your FO!

Boo about having to reknit those sleeves but you'll whip them out in no time. Sylvia just looks super adorable as usual. :-) BTW, I'm still working on tracking down those cat pictures. LOL

Reknitting is no big deal--certainly not with these sleeves, which actually knit up pretty fast. At least I don't have to reknit the body of the sweater!

Ned Flanders (on the left) agrees. When you push the button on his back he says, "Always room for one more Flanders!" but that's just code for "Knit it right, or else you'll never want to wear it and then where will you be?"
