I missed most of the parade due to travel. Can’t believe the parade got Rick-roll’d!
That was genius. Though if you saw the parade in person, you probably wouldn’t get to see that. All the performances happen right in front of Macys Herald Square, which is the end of the parade route. I suspect you need to have connections to get a spot in that area.
The perfect parade viewing spot would be in someone’s apartment along the parade route so you get a good view of the balloons and can then watch the performances on TV.
