Did you see the lunar eclipse? I think it’s the only time there’ll be one on the Winter Solstice for (basically) the rest of our lives! Unfortunately our skies were darkened by rainclouds. Too bad for us!
@JD: I did not see it, alas–partly because it was cloudy here, and partly because I just could not make myself stay up until (or wake up at) 2:30 a.m.
